Two stories examining polar opposite speculative futures. Both stories have different exploratory narratives to hit at the same societal points. The plots were mostly philosophical treatises than anything. And while I liked the stories and characters just fine, the endings really won me.
Also, Queen of Life was surprisingly feminist. Good stuff.
