It takes a lot for me to truly get into the book. Why this is I am not sure. Maybe it is because they aren't real per se. This book was not like so many of the others. From the beginning I was sucked in. While I might not believe vampires or werewolves are real, I DO believe in metaphysical things like visions or ghosts. I know it makes no sense. Anyway the moment I read about Amber having headaches/visions I was all in. Amber had snark. She was believable. She wanted to be normal. My heart hurt that she'd been in the system. All things I know personally. I connected with her. Garrett, holy hell. I need werewolves to be real so I can find myself one. He was an Alpha, figuratively and literally in every sense of the word. I wanted to put my mark on him if that was possible. The plot of the story was fantastic and had me invested. I'm sooooo looking forward to Sedona's story. I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review. I'm thankful I did as it introduced me to a whole new series. 4.5 stars. no reviews | add a review

"YOU BROKE THE RULES, LITTLE HUMAN. I OWN YOU NOW." I am an alpha wolf, one of the youngest in the States. I can pick any she-wolf in the pack for a mate. So why am I sniffing around the sexy human attorney next door? The minute I catch Amber's sweet scent, my wolf wants to claim her. Hanging around is a bad idea, but I don't play by the rules. Amber acts all prim and proper, but she has a secret, too. She may not want her psychic abilities, but they're a gift. I should let her go, but the way she fights me only makes me want her more. When she learns what I am, there's no escape for her. She's in my world, whether she likes it or not. I need her to use her gifts to help recover my missing sister-and I won't take no for an answer. She's mine now. No library descriptions found. |

Once more we are taken into the world of Bad Boy Alphas, where the men are werewolves and the women love them. This time, we're focusing on Garrett. He's the Alpha of the Tucson Pack. His dad keeps pressuring him to find a female Alpha wolf and mate. Then Amber walks into his life and changes everything.
Amber is his new neighbor, a lawyer and a psychic. When she walks into the elevator with Garrett and two of his pack members, she gets turned on but is scared, because they all look like the members of some motorcycle club, wearing leather, pierced, and tattooed. When she finds out that they are her next door neighbors, she gets a little bit upset. But then Garrett starts to pay attention to her and she decides that she really likes it. He finds out that she's a psychic and she finds out that being around him helps her visions.
When Garrett's sister gets kidnapped on her vacation in Mexico, Garrett needs her help, so he drags her along with him. Are they going to be able to find his sister? Will Garrett and Amber ever be able to find a happily ever after? And what will Garrett's father think?
I think that this story is more intense than Alpha's Danger is. Amber and Garrett have some really explosive chemistry, and it's a wild ride to read. I loved reading Amber's internal dialogue. She puts a lot of things in legal terms, which I thought was a lot of fun. I really can't wait for the next one in the series, since these two ladies are amazing authors on their own, and their brilliance is just magnified when they write together. They have created some fabulous characters with a lot of depth and layers to them.
I received an ARC for my honest and voluntary review, I hope you enjoy said honest and voluntary review.
