Bruce has had it with the mice living in his home. So he decides it is high time to move. But Bruce discovers that no place is perfect ;)

I have to hand it to Ryan T. Higgins......he knows how to write books that are engaging to adults as well as to children. I love it!! ( )

Bruce is a mother to 4 geese and 3 mice. The mice were a little wild and crazy and Bruce did not like it. Bruce moves out with the 4 geese to somewhere that was nice and peaceful until the mice came back to move in with Bruce. Bruce did not like it but it did feel like home. ( )

An adorable story that follows the further adventures of Mother Bruce and friends, or rather his four charges. He and the geese were getting along fine. They made a home for themselves, found routines, and took comfort in each other's presence...until three little (non-blind) mice made THEMSELVES at home. It seems Bruce's abode wasn't quite big enough for them all and so...Bruce picks up and leaves, with the mice growing ever smaller in his rear view. Will he and the geese find the perfect home? A place to call their own that's quieter, neater, and less neighborly seems like a small list of desires to grant...but I don't think Bruce was ever told to be careful what you wish for.

In the end, it's an entertaining story that speaks the truth universally known...home isn't just where you hang your hat, but where you house your heart.
