To Bathe a Boa (Carolrhoda Picture Books)

This is a cute story about a kid who has to bathe his pet boa. The snake doesn't like the baths...not falling for the attempts by the boy to coax him out and then hiding from the boy. The snake finally ends up in the bathtub. However, the boy does, too, and it turns out the kid gets more of a bath then the snake. It's a fun book and younger children will love the story and the personality of the snake. The illustrations are funny and creative. Any youngster who has been around when pet fights against bath time will sure relate...so will mom and dad.
