( ) Was It a Good Trade? is a cute story that focuses on a man trading everything he has. After every trade, the narrator asks "Was it a good trade?" This book was written in a very rhythmic manner which makes you want to keep reading until you get to the end to see what other crazy fun things the man trades. The man first traded his knife for a wife and it was all down hill from there. He ended up with one shoe that he traded for a slate which he drew a portrait of his wife on. He then traded that for a cat but ended up with his wife and a knife and promised never to trade again, unless you have something worth trading for. no reviews | add a review
