Liked most of the Harley-centric stories, the wrap-around, the Tom King story, and the Detective Chimp story. Everything else was forgettable. With these mixed-bag story collections,mquality isn’t really expected but it’s appreciated. A select few tried to be visually distinct, like the Chimp story and the Flash story, and it’s no coincidence those were my favorite. Most superhero comics can be so talky and plotty when it forgets that these things are spectacles at heart. If they’re gonna be so talky, however, they could have more memorable dialogue. For all of Tom King’s flaws, at least he’s got a distinct style. (
