I had an absolute BLAST listening to this audiobook! This book was this wicked combination of sweet, sexy and absolutely hilarious. I honestly don't think I have laughed so much while reading book in a long time.

It helps that the leads are who they are; this story wouldn't be the same without them. Brynn is a bit of an oddball but still utterly charming. I loved watching her rebuild her confidence after her divorce and discovering her own self-worth as the story progressed. And Tom is a great complement to her character as he too has to rebuild his confidence.

Watching them fight (but never show more really succeeding) their fabulous connection made for an epic read. Seriously. I've never laughed so hard during a sex scene before while still finding the entire thing to be sexy. Their chemistry is palpable and their inner monologue about the other person had me swooning throughout. These two are just the cutest!

I really wasn't sure what the plot was going to be given the synopsis but this book surprised me in the best way. These two find themselves in some crazy situations and hilarity ensues. But it also has its touching moments as well where these two connect on that deeper level I love to see.

Like I said before, I had so much fun listening to this book. The narrators totally made it this awesome experience because I honestly don't think I would have enjoyed the humour as much otherwise. Erin Mallon as Brynn managed to capture this quirky character and bring her to life in a very humourous way. She made me love Brynn instantly as soon as her inner monologue started. And Luke Daniels as Tom is perfection! He sounds exactly like I'd expect a manly TV handy man to sound--like a sexy Ron Swanson (which is something I thought I'd never say) but it totally works for this book.

This book was a great blend of sexy, sweet and hilarity and it was made even better by the audiobook production. Highly recommended for fans of quirky romantic comedies! show less

If I see Sarina Bowen's name I read it! She is definitely a one click author for me and this book did not disappoint. I always enjoy the Man Hands books because Sarina and Tanya Eby are a magical duo who write a book that is equal parts sexy and humorous it's a complete have your cake and eat it too story.
If you enjoyed this book you should absolutely read the others in this series because while the stories are not the same the vibe is and that vibe is a great one! My one warning is read this book in public with caution as you will be caught audible sighing and laughing.

SUCH A FUN READ

I smiled throughout this entire book. Very low angst and lots of witty banter. So fun and sexy. The spice was nice but low level. I will need to read the other books in the series.

Every time I see this cover, I think it says MAN ANUS. Which is probably just a little too frank for a book title. Besides that, the whole cover is just beyond awkward.. The background color (why pee yellow?), the title color (that red is way harsh), the grey skinned dude (uh, okay it's a graphic contrast to the super bright colors, but like, in an MS Paint kind of way), the weird arm/hand placement (does he have a pain in his bathing suit area? is that why he's hunching over? where does that hammer end?). But really, MAN ANUS.

I'll read it because I like Sarina Bowen, but if I had not read a book of hers before this, I would be noping right out. Honestly, I kind of want to nope out anyway, because this cover is so unattractive. Sorry show more to whoever designed it. show less
