Christmas Bower

This is an utterly delightful story about a proudly "practical" aka materialistic family who own a department store and rather disdain the unworldly ornithology professor uncle whom the family somehow spawned and the impractical son who admires him. Yet the professor turns out to be the only practical one of the lot when through a series of misadventures, a rare bowerbird is released in the store during the busiest retail season of the year.
