Description

The fourth book in the #1 New York Times bestselling Field Party series—a southern soap opera with football, cute boys, and pick-up trucks—from USA TODAY bestselling author Abbi Glines.
Tallulah Liddell had been defined by her appearance for as long as she could remember. Overweight and insecure, she preferred to fly under the radar, draw as little attention to herself so no one can hurt her. The only boy who did seem to ever notice her was her longtime crush, Nash Lee. But when he show more laughs at a joke aimed at Tallulah the summer before their senior year, Tallulah's love dissipates, and she becomes determined to lose weight, to no longer be an object of her classmates'—and especially Nash's—ridicule.

Nash Lee has it all—he's the star running back of Lawton's football team, being scouted by division one colleges, and on track to have a carefree senior year. But when an accident leaves him with a permanent limp, all of Nash's present and future plans are destroyed, leaving him bitter, angry, and unrecognizable from the person he used to be.

Facing a new school year with her new body, Tallulah is out to seek revenge on Nash's cruelty. All does not go according to plan, though, and Tallulah and Nash unexpectedly find themselves falling for each other. But with all the pain resting in each of their hearts, can their love survive?

Abbi Glines does it again! Each book in the series has touched on real life situations that can affect a teenager. This book took it to the next level.
Tallulah struggled with weight and once she changed she had a whole lot thrown at her. Attention she didn’t know how to cope with (not just from her peers).
Nash struggled with an accident that defined his future and destroyed his dream.
These are all real situations. Anyone that attended High School knows how cruel some people can be. I applaud Abbi for bringing these to light.
This book is the fourth in the series, but the previous characters have already graduated from high school so we get new amazing characters and so it can be read as a stand alone.

This is Nash and Tallulah’s story. Nash was in the football team but after an injury he finds himself trying to figure out what to do next, and Tallulah is a very interesting character, she lost weight and now she finds herself in a different situation, she wants revenge against Nash. They aren’t perfect they struggle and have their own demons to defeat but the story is amazing, it flows and makes you keep reading until the very end.
I really like this series and this was a good ending. I was happy that Nash was a good guy and always nice to Tallulah. I understand that she was upset when he laughed at the fat joke, but I don't think he was even really listening to what was being said. I'm glad Tallulah was able to use that as motivation to lose weight and be healthier and happier. And I am glad they were able to connect finally, they fit each other well, especially after Nash's accident. The teacher that liked Tallulah was super creepy and I felt bad for her that she had to deal with that ew. I like the alternating voices of Nash and Tallualh, it makes the story more interesting and breaks it up. My only wish was that the characters from the other books were in this show more one. I guess they were all older and we did hear mention of Brady, but it would have been nice to see how they were doing. This was a pretty short book so I was able to get through it quickly. I enjoyed reading it and the audio book narrators did a good job. show less
This is my favorite series so far. I am still unhappy with the open endings.. leaves the reading ask ok what next but the feelings from the series stay with you. So that is something I love. To still feel connected to the characters long after their story has ended... or not ended...
Lo termine para el Magical Readathon, creo que es la unica razon por la que lo termine.
Este no lo disfrute nada nada.
This did not live up to my expectations. I am disappointed.
