Must have for any Alien fan. Chock full of original art, sketches, movie stills, and behind the scenes creation of the props and backdrops/settings of the iconic and mack daddy of all Sci-Fi horror, Alien.

Text itself is great with excellent insights from Giger and the crew.
Not only are the preliminary drawings and sets wonderful to look at, reading Giger's diary during the shoot was very enlightening. Makes you appreciate the movie more (and wish they had left some of the scene in instead of editing them).
Loads of insights into the thinking, the designs and the artwork being Ridley Scott's film, Alien.
Pure genius! Fantastic book, cult classic and interesting background information provided with many illustrations so that reader can follow way beyond the actual scenes of this fantastic movie! We can see the real Alien thing, what it is like to be in the middle of that cruel world of film industry and what happens when the real artist meets that greedy world of film business, time schedule and various aspects of the real film production!!! ,,Alien,, is cult classic now mostly due to the Giger` s masterpiece and talent and brilliant vision of the darker side of life!!!
