Description

A young woman finds herself torn between two very different men in this warm, compassionate novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Debbie Macomber.

Abby Carpenter longs for the type of romance she reads about in books. She loves her volunteer work teaching English as a second language, and has found her relationship with her boyfriend, Logan, just as fulfilling. But lately, she’s thinking she needs a little spice in her life. Then she meets Tate, a handsome stranger, after a show more lesson in the park. Everything about him seems too good to be true, and he’s infatuated with Abby—but she can’t help assuming there’s got to be a catch.

Tate just might provide the sense of adventure Abby has been searching for. But when Logan, always steadfast in his commitment, gives her an ultimatum, Abby must choose: Who will make her happier? And is falling in love worth the risk?

Abby and Tate both did not act like in their late twenties more like a teenager that only thinks of themselves. Logan seemed like someone that has not done much dating and was content with a girlfriend/companion. It took both of them to see how Patty entering the picture changed things. Really proud of Logan and his mountain adventure. I did give Abby credit for keeping Tate's secret even though she knew that Logan deserved more.
In Macomber’s romance novel, Abby Carpenter dreams of finding her knight in shining armor. But what she has in her life is safe, predictable and practical Logan Fletcher. What her life is lacking is pizazz! Then she meets a stranger with his eyes on her in the form of Tate Harding and she can’t help but wonder if this chance meeting is just what she needs.

Macomber has once again paved the path to true love.
