It is very beautiful and a lot of the book is full spread of photos and images that are quite lovely. I found dividing the moon into 8 phases to be too much for me to keep track of - ~29 days divided by 8 is 3-4 days roughly. I think I can identify with a 4 phase cycle much more easily though I liked learning about her yin/yang approach to the phases. It's just too fast for me; I'd never know what phase I was in. I also cringe any time a white woman (I am one) uses the word "tribe" in some new age middle-class mom's club type sense. I detest it for the cultural appropriation and I also dislike that current subculture that I don't know how to name. ( ) no reviews | add a review
"In a world in which women feel increasingly disconnected-from their inner selves, each other, and the world, Lunar Abundance offers a path to reconnection, with results that you can actually see. It shows how by tuning into the natural rhythm of lunar ebbs and flows, you can connect with work, relationships, your body, and surroundings on a higher level than ever before, becoming more productive and self-aware in the process." --provided by publisher.
