Irelyn Raine and Grey Justice have had an off and on relationship that has lasted most of their lives, but it is the people in their shared past that have kept them apart. Irelyn spent most of her childhood being raised by a master assassin who was training Irelyn to take over his business until Grey helped her escape. Grey has been getting justice for victims since he was a young man. When Irelyn finally decides to put the past behind her, Grey finds himself being threatened by an unknown force, trying to end his life.
In this fourth and final book in the Grey Justice series, we finally get Grey's story. There are many obstacles for the characters in this book, but the biggest one seems to be their own fear of finally trying to make a go of their relationship. For a book about killers, there is a great deal of conversation and very little action until the last part of the book. However, the dialogue is well written and the story is intriguing enough to keep the reader interested until the very end. Overall, a good ending to a very good series. ( )

This book is to supposed to be Grey & Irelyn's story. I feel that a ether way to describe it is the climax of their story. Each book in the series has been dropping hints & leading up to this book. Grey & Irelyn have been dancing around each other for a large portion of their lives. She doesn't think she's worthy of him while he loves her no matter what.

Ms. Reece gives us characters that are tough, gritty & realistic. She doesn't pretty them up or attempt to hide their flaws & that's what makes her books so great. Her plot seems to always move at the perfect pace, never to fast or to slow. The tempo seems to build throughout the book until the final secret is revealed. I know that I'm not able to fully express my thoughts but I feel she is one of the best in romantic suspense. ( )
