Without giving it much thought, this is a fun, interesting, page turning thriller. The problem is, I’m not sure if it would hold up that way after giving it a lot of thought.
Carl Granville is a young guy trying to make it as a writer and has had some success. Then he's hired to ghost write a novel based on a diary. And the money is fabulous. But the project soon gets way beyond weird. Professional killers are involved as well as high level politicians. The story is fast and furious and fascinating. If you've ever read and enjoyed Stephen Hunter, try this one out. If you haven't, try it anyway. Trust me.
I loved this book - very political murder mystery. Read all his other ones, but this is still the best.
A murder mystery, in which a lot of people die..:0) The complex situations that led to the murders made a great story. A coverup that comes unraveled is the basis of the story.

Recommended to anyone who loves a great murder mystery.
Interesting enough, but not enough to keep me awake at night. I think this will be a book I can easily forget.
Definitely a page-turner. Gripping from the beginning to the climatic & surprising end. Good choice for a vacation read.
A very good book that kept me spellbound.
