She's happy as can be, preparing the shop for its grand opening and renting a cottage in the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being completed. The only thing missing is the one thing she longs for, and has no control over—love.

But when he spots a stunning brunette across the room, escaping reality goes out the window, and the beautiful woman becomes the focus of his next song—and maybe even the rest of his life.
When Sawyer walks into Sky's tattoo shop and sees the woman from the bar—Sky—the chemistry between them is instant. Sawyer is everything Sky could ever hope for in a man. He's honest, loving, sensitive, and potently virile—but boxing goes against everything Sky believes in. The closer they become, the more she realizes that her alpha boxer is waging his own emotional battle—only the battle she thinks he's waging isn't the one that threatens to tear them apart.

I was reading this book in every place that I could! I didn't have the time to finish the book in one sitting, but I was trying to read a couple of chapters every time I took a break. I loved Sky and Sawyer's story and I wanted them to keep me company wherever they could. To be honest, though, I didn't like some two parts of the story. The first thing is Sky's reaction to Sawyer's boxing and the kind of ultimatum she gave him felt irrational and a little too dram heavy for me. Sawyer put himself in danger because he wanted to provide his father with the care he needed. That was noble and I have to admit a little dangerous, but I had faith in him. The second thing I didn't like was the whole P-Town poet. First of all, I couldn't believe show more that so many people wanted to get the words of an unknown person on their body. Sky made it seem like people were getting them all the time which made the whole situation unbelievable. Second, I didn't understand why Sky got mad at Sawyer for not saying that he is the P-Town poet when she invented that nickname and never explained to him the whole situation. Half of this book is Sky overacting and this is the reason I am giving this book a 4-star rating instead of my usual 5. The rest of the book was good, but the heroine had some bad moments that tainted the story. The Seaside gang is one of my favorites, so I enjoyed the book and I can't wait for the next one. show less
I was so excited to find out it was finally Sky's turn to take center stage. She is by far the seaside sweetie that I most identify with! Walking to the beat of her own drum, Sky isn't one to let much get her down, not that she wouldn't mind a little love and lust in her life...if it could get past Blue and her overprotective brothers. Sawyer is definitely hot, no question, but his rough, boxer exterior belies what lies within - a lovely, artistic soul. Together they have the potential to create beautiful art and music (and not just on paper either)...but can these two overcome the massive obstacle that might push them irrevocably apart?

So we are back in Cape Cod with the gang and I for one have been so excited to read this book! Nights at Seaside is the story of Sky and Sawyer, two of the most creative people in I have every read about, but in all stories of true love; nothing runs smoothly.
Sky’s (and Pete’s) Dad is finally sober and is back working in the hardware store, so Sky is finally opening her tattoo store; Inky Skies. It has been a dream of Sky’s to have a tattoo store, as a way to express her creative soul. While taking a break at the Governor Bradford Restaurant with her friends and families for the open mic night, she was blown away by Sawyer.
Sawyer has a lot on his mind! His father has Parkinson’s disease and his parents are struggling show more financially, so he tries to help them as much as he can, with the prize money he wins as a boxer! But now the doctor has giving him this death sentence, if he fights one more time, which is putting his parents future in jeopardy.
Then Sky and Sawyer meet, when he comes in for a tattoo and sparks fly and they fall in love, and while Sky is not happy with Sawyers job, she supports him, until the truth comes out and she is left devastated. Will this be the end for Sky and Sawyer…?
WOW! What a book! It completely blew my mind! And I can honestly say that I completely fell in love with Sky and Sawyer! They just are so perfect for each other! And while in other books in this series, the love stories have been rough and tumble all the way through! And it’s not with this book that way with this story and I think that's what makes me love it!
So on to the bare facts. The writing is smooth and the plot is well written. The needs of a person with a disabilities are spot on and the author has researched Parkinson’s disease, which is excellent!
I give Nights at Seaside a well-deserved 5 stars! show less

Ebook Review:
In a world of many colors, Skye looks at the world through rose colored glasses. She sees the good in life, despite the many heartbreaks heaped upon her family. That optimism can prove to be both a blessing and a curse. The higher the aim, the more emotional the disappointment is when it comes. When fate places her in the path of a stranger with a gift for music that calls to her heart, she's close to fulfilling all her dreams. Or is she? What happens when your soulmate turns out to be all wrong in your head, but perfect for your heart? Nights at Seaside tackles many themes. Friendship, family, sobriety and the healing power of show more love. Informative, realistic and emotional. The calling card of any good romance.
Audiobook Review:
Nights at Seaside is a work of art. Addison Cole has created a beautiful watercolor that spans multiple canvases. Her delivery is like the sweetest melody. Not easily forgotten. Skye and Sawyer blend artistry and poetry to create an ever changing masterpiece. A metamorphosis of heartbreaking moments, life changing revelations and an enduring love. Melissa Moran takes this emotive coming of age journey and runs with it. Her's is a voice of hope that shines a light when times are at their most heart-aching. John Michael Montgomery said it best: "Life's a dance. We learn as we go!" It took a bit of practice, but Skye and Sawyer finally got it right. show less
