This is a very positive short book for kids having trouble saying goodbye. The books talks about leaving family, leaving for school, and also doing things that make you scared but have positive outcomes. Ages 3-5 Pierce County Library

This book is about change and growing up. I think that this book would appeal to younger children. I enjoyed the way it used a variety of different children to portray the things that most children face when getting older like jumping in the pool for the first time or outgrowing old clothes. This book is diverse and universal at the same time. ( )

I thought this was a great book that teaches children the importance of goodbyes. I think this is great for children to learn how hello and goodbye are important and how goodbye brings hello. this story talks about when one door closes another one opens. This is a great book for young kindergardens to read when going to school. ( )

this is a great book for kids getting ready to start school. Though they might be scared or nervous of the changes you can use this to show them its not so scary. I love the bright colors and rhymes they use in this book it really keeps the attention. I also love the illustrations of the characters in the book. Goodbye brings hello is a great lesson for kids to know the next step in life isn't always so bad. ( )
