Meh. I was never a fan of the...TV show? That was the first form this story took, I think. So the book, which is (I believe) very true to the characters - shows them doing things and reacting to events in ways that don't make sense to me. The book does _not_ begin from the beginning; I believe it's set well after the show ended. If you're a mad fan of The Avengers, you'd probably love this. To me it's a series of vignettes without explanation. The art is excellent, the characters are vividly depicted, and I'm totally uninterested.
Part 1 of 3. Colour throughout. Just like watching an Emma Peel and Steed episode, and well connected to the tv series with references to the Hellfire Club. Fun, quick read.
