Simple and straightforward book about the development of the earliest cities in Mesopotamia. Frequently occurring, about once every other page, black and white illustrations accompany the text. The style is conversational and similar to what Asimov would have used in writing for the same age. Optimistic about the future of cities, written in the late 60s.
