Author Lily Williams creates fascination about the endangered species of polar bears in the Arctic Tundra places of Northern Zone. It is interesting to think about what will happen in the future if the ice melts in the Arctic polar region and if the human population does not make a change regarding this issue. The population of polar bears, seals and other species in the Arctic zone are vulnerable and threatened because of the affected ecosystem, scarcity of food and increasing carbon dioxide which causes the ice to melt. However, scientists are continuing research on how to save polar bears in Arctic Tundra Zone, fortunately, there is enough time; otherwise, the outcome will be that polar bears will be extinct forever for non-adaptability life due to the melting ice in Arctic Zone. no reviews | add a review

"A nonfiction picture book tracing the repercussions of what would happen if polar bears disappeared from our planet. The freezing ecosystem in the far north of the globe is home to many different kinds of animals. They can be strong like a walrus, tough like a lemming, and sometimes hard to see like the polar bear. Their habitat is melting at an alarming rate. As the Arctic ice melts, polar bears are threatened with extinction, which could affect their environment in negative ways. Lily Williams explores how such a loss would affect other environments and animals across the Arctic and the negative impact across the planet."-- No library descriptions found. |
