Yes it's for beginning readers. But it's Wildsmith, so it has a little extra liveliness and humor. I love finding stray treasures in Little Free Libraries.
This is a cute book for younger children. It contains really interesting illustrations. It had many different animals sitting on a mat. Then the cat comes on the mat and scares everyone away. This is so the cat can have the mat all to himself. This is a short book so children will be able to pay attention the whole time.
