This actually ends up being a mystery. At the start of the book one of the lead actors in a daytime soap opera is killed in an on set accident involving a car on a gimbal. Now the search is on for who's responsible. Filled with drama off the set. It turns out the actor in question was actually gay and black mailing another person on set. He also was the lover of the set designer. There's another extra who is murdered a few days later are the two deaths related?
