The author adds a little filler here and there but the substance is exactly as one would hope—100 stories about how people from all walks of life started with an idea, took a chance, experimented, and then grew their efforts into profitable side business.

Every now and then the focus shifts from executing the idea to the unhelpfully distracting "... and made $$$ in the first month/year/etc." Fortunately, these kinds of spammy indulgences are few and the collection of stories are overwhelmingly about making the idea workable.

I would read a chapter a day. It was fascinating and inspiring. I still don’t have a side hustle, but the realm of it seems more plausible after reading this.

Interesting book that should give you plenty of ideas and inspiration for setting up a business. Think it’s a good book for 18-30 as a way to show them of non traditional jobs that they could engage in.
