This is just your basic standard cute shojo manga... which means I’ll definitely keep reading. Reminds me a ton of Shortcake Cake by Suu Morishita. (

My library had the first 3 volumes on display, so here we go!

Well, childhood best-friend is not about to win her heart lol. I would be legit (pleasantly) surprised if she does not end up with Amemura.

Anywho, this is a cute story centered, or should I say focused – on photography. Mako’s a bit obsessed with taking Mr. Grumpy’s photo since he’s like the perfect model in her eyes. Unfortunately, he hates photos; His reasoning for that is believable. Of course, he cannot hide from his looks forever, and he relents on a few conditions. I thought this was charming so far. (

A pretty straightforward love triangle is at the center of this low-key but competent romance. Our heroine is so obsessed with her photography she obliviously interacts with the boy next door trying to fight his way out of the friend zone and the mysterious and emotionally complicated young lad who wears long bangs and glasses to hide his model perfect good looks from the world that has hurt him so.

I like how the creator leans into the theme by sprinkling triangles throughout the art. (
