So grab The Outdoor Toddler Activity Book, take your toddler outside, and watch the joy of learning in the fresh air. Spring or winter, rain or shine--these simple-to-set-up activities are designed to make the most of being outdoors, no matter what the season or weather. Children and the Great Outdoors are a natural combination. Kids have endless curiosity, boundless energy, and unlimited imaginations. Playing outside is fun and educational, and it helps to burn excess energy. "The Outdoor Toddler Activity Book", from author Krissy Bonning-Gould, offers over 100 entertaining activities for toddler-aged (12 mos-36 mos) children. Bigger kids (and adults) will have a good time too! While fun is emphasized, safety is not overlooked. Activities are planned for all-year-round, including different types of weather and seasonal changes. Using materials on hand in the household and also resources readily available from Mother Nature, these fun learning outings keep costs to a minimum. I was personally quite pleased to see that mud pies are still popular. Childhood is a precious time of life, and memories of a happy, active childhood will make us smile for many years to come.
