I did not enjoy the beginning when Dante was a total asshole to Eve. I, also, really didn't enjoy how Eve was a slave to her desire for him....to the point of allowing what I felt was abuse. It took a bit of time and skimming to get past that. Once the relationship felt more loving, I became more interested. I enjoyed the secondary story of Dante's brother, etc....There are 2 more books. (

Hearts of Darkness is a mafia romance and the start of a series that I cannot wait to read more of. Eve and Dante met under circumstances that were very stressful for Eve. He was so obsessed he just had to have her. Things with them got very hot and sexy and I loved that part of the story. There was also so much suspense and intrigue, I was hooked throughout the entire book.

I listened to the audiobook version of this story narrated by Sarah Puckett,one of my favorites and TF Harding, a new to me narrator. Excellent narration and I recommend the audio version of this book. (

i could not stand these two!! eve truly didn't have a lick of sense, and dante had the emotional acuity and range of a toddler.

Fantastic

Holy Crikey. This book kept me on the edge of my sear. Intense, action packed, and hotter than not chemistry. I'm mad at myself for not moving this book up on my TBR sooner. It ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what is in store for the Devil and his Angel in the next book. (
