Description

E-Squared is the sensational word-of-mouth SMASH that has gone on to become an international phenomenon, published in 26 languages and featured in the New York Times bestseller list!

E-Squared could best be described as a lab manual with simple experiments that prove reality is malleable, consciousness trumps matter, and you shape your life with your mind. Yes, you read that right. It says prove.

The nine experiments, each of which can be conducted with absolutely no money and very little show more time expenditure, demonstrate that spiritual principles are as dependable as gravity, as consistent as Newton’s laws of motion.

Rather than take it on faith, E-Squared invites you to prove the following principles:

• There is an invisible energy force or field of infinite possibilities.
• You impact the field and draw from it according to your beliefs and expectations.
• Your connection to the field provides...

A friend who knows I've been reading up more on quantum physics gave me a copy of this book. The title and subtitle basically say it all. E-Squared by Pam Grout is a series of nine experiments anyone can do with minimal or no equipment to prove the quantum theory that thoughts create reality. Grout starts the book off with a layman's explanation of the quantum field, which she calls the field of unlimited potential, and how we can use it to manifest what we'd like. Grout's writing is entertaining and easy to read.

So how did I do? I attempted 5 of the experiments and I got results with all 5. Not all the results were what I expected with one being quite surprising. It was a lot of fun! I'm planning to try the experiments again sometime show more in the future. show less
This is an excellent book, and I will immediately try to get hold of the sequel, E-Cubed.

It is well-written, inspiring and humorous. Pam provides us with several challenging experiments whereby we can prove for ourselves that what she says is true, that the FP (Field of Potentiality) exists and that we can manifest whatever we desire.

For instance, in one experiment we had to manifest sunset beige cars and butterflies (or purple feathers) within 48 hrs. I didn´t really know what colour sunset beige was, so settled for an orange car. I wasn´t out much that day and didn´t see any such cars. I chose to look for a purple feather and not butterflies, since it´s the middle of winter, and did indeed find one in a computer game!

Another show more experiment involved sending a message to someone telepathically and receiving evidence that he or she received it, also within 48 hrs.

I did not succeed in the latter experiment nor in fact in any of the others, except the one with the purple feather. But one of the experiments involved getting a couple of “energy wands” made out of wire coat hangers to move in a certain way by thinking either negative or positive thoughts; I didn´t have any wire coat hangers so couldn´t even try this one.

However, I found the experiments extremely inspiring, and something has shifted in me (for the positive) since reading the book. So perhaps I should purchase the book (instead of just having borrowed it from the library) and read it one more time and retry all the experiments.

I strongly recommend this book.

The Kindle edition of this book was on sale for $2 and I thought that would be a deal and a half, especially if the experiments actually worked and I was able to manifest something of value. The first thing I did was ask the Universe for a blessing and gave it a 48-hour deadline. Nothing happened, so I tried again. Nada. I moved onto the next experiment and that didn't work either. I got discouraged. In all, I tried four experiments and none of them worked for me. I still have an open mind, but this book did not prove anything.
This book was pretty interesting actually. Its not religious per-say, a different sort of it, more spiritual I suppose. I was skeptical about the book. But I did one of the experiment and it worked. Looking forward to doing all 9 experiments for real and can't wait to see what happens.

The concept of Field of Potentiality was super interesting. The examples the author presented backed up her claims. I love how there was examples of real life people that are close to the author, so the book felt more personal and real and how there were also examples from corners of the world that nobody ever heard of and of Jesus. The ones about Jesus and God makes me rethink the whole bible with this concept in mind... boggles my mind, but I can't get show more it out of my head :)

The only thing that was wrong was that the Preface and Intro had basically the same message. I almost put it down because the author pretty much kept repeating herself, just in different ways. I suppose its so we stop being skeptical and actually believe. But it went on too long (20% of the book to be exact) and it should have been shorter to keep the reader interested.

This has an extra star for potential in regards to other people's needs...... Based on "A Course in Miracles", this is a simplified workbook for those who have gotten bogged down in the rhetoric of "A Course". At the end of each chapter there is a log sheet for your "experiment" on thought changing reality.

The Nine Experiments consist of (in my words): Invisible Energy/Field of Infinite Possibilities; Drawing to You via Beliefs & Expectations; You as Field of Energy; What You Focus You Expand; Connections Provide Unlimited Guidance; Thoughts & Consciousness Matter; Thoughts & Consciousness=Scaffolding for Your Physical Body: Connecting to Everyone & Everything in the Universe; Universe is Unlimited Abundant, & Accommodating.

This book is show more small and for a "New York Times Bestseller" is cheaply printed... Honestly, the dang paper is so fraking thin you can see not only the printing on the back side of the page you're reading but the page before/after that one as well! THAT IS SO FREAKING ANNOYING, especially for those of us who need glasses to read! show less
This book is too likely to cause the young and inexperienced to think that wishing for something is all it takes to get it.
I started this book, tried a couple of the experiments, didn't see any success with them and stopped reading.
Perhaps the book will work for someone else, but it did not work for me.
