The only bad part of the book was when I finished it and realized I now have to wait for the next book. I love Lexi and her boys so much and this book did a great job of progressing the story in a believable manner. I cannot day enough good things about this novel. ( ) Ever since I learned a new book on the series was coming out I've been chomping at the bit to read this!! I waited up impatiently on release night for it to appear on my kindle. Like a young child on Christmas morning I gleefully pounced on this treat the moment it arrived. Let me tell you, it does NOT disappoint!!!! To me, this book is most definitely a transitional book within the series. WARNING🚨: if you've not yet read any of the previous books you MUST at least read book one to understand all the relationships and context. However I highly suggest reading this series in order (it's oh so worth it 😉). Transitional book....ok heres my thoughts. In this book we see the group about to graduate and move on to college, so it's far less a YA RH book, and more of a new adult version. Not to mention in this particular book our Lexie is most definitely dealing with insane emotional issues thanks to events that occurred to her in previous books (WARNING: abuse and stalker triggers in this series). She truly comes into her own as a young woman finally starting to get a grip on past trauma AND her insanely powerful abilities. Their group as a whole are also transitioning into a new relationship, and more than that.... At least two of the guys are dealing with overwhelming supernatural changes to their physical beings. One of which we get a glimpse, but I'm hoping with the next book we'll get the full story of what happened and what's to come. Definitely a number of jaw dropping moments in this exciting thrill ride of a book. Lexie seems far more at ease in her skin in this book, able to stand up for herself and speak her mind. Like I said... Transitional 😊💗. I adore these characters and greedily looked forward to each page. Thankfully it didn't end in a cliffhanger, but it still leaves you wanting more. Fingers crossed we get more of Lexie and her amazing guys later this year. Did these well rounded characters will draw you in from the start! no reviews | add a review

My name is Alexis, Lexie to most everyone. And I'm a Necromancer. It's not as much fun as it sounds but that's not the problem this time. I haven't seen anyone but Miles in the last month since New Orleans. Talking on the phone? Yeah. Well, except for Zeke. A few text messages was all I've gotten. Until now. We're going on the guys' yearly climbing and camping trip. With all of our secrets out, the tension between everyone is high. Everyone is pissed at each other and I'm just trying to keep my head above water. But it's time for a decision. Who am I going to be with? Will I end up with anyone? Will our family stay together?
