An excellent source of information about the beauty, value, and necessity of trees. I will now read food labels more closely for products that exploit trees: palm oil is used in "pizza, cookies, and ice cream, and rain forests are being decimated to plant more of this species. A wonderful book to share in elementary science classrooms and among families. Includes a list of National and State Trees, a Glossary, and an Index.
The Magic and Mystery of Trees by Jen Green
Great book about different types of trees, where trees grow well and so many other facts.
Liked learning about the parts and what they each do especially to their neighbor trees.
There are many secrets about them.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).
