There were parts of this I loved, namely Jimena conducting a car-jacking, Collin and Serena being the best siblings ever, and the hint that Serena will choose "darkness" in the end. But boy oh boy do I get sick of these kids. It's a combination of miscommunication (or no communication) and flip-flop, flippy, flip-flop behavior that drives me nuts. You are either with Stanton or against him, make up your minds! All of the girls are so immature in their dealings with Stanton's whole slave to an evil entity situation that I was forced to remember that this man is grown, like 700 years grown. What is he doing around all these kids?!
The Daughters of the Moon are back for anotehr adventure and battle with the evil Atrox. Serena hasn't been feeling herself lately, she's been having sudden memory loss and is acting at times like a completely different person. She's acting like someone she doesn't like very much and wearing different clothes and make-up as well as hitting on a variety of different boys. It also looks like someone is following her in a car.
Her troubles began when she was jumped by an old woman in a dark alley. The woman forced a drink down her throat and ever since then the strangeness began. While the girls try to figure out what is happening to Serena, her memory losses get worse and covering longer periods of time. Is it possible that someone is show more possessiong her body?
I am still really enjoying this series. Serena isn't my favourite of the girls, but I so still enjoy reading stories centred around her. These are fun novels with strong female characters. What's not to like?! show less

I loved the very original story line of this particular book. It was different from the rest of the series and gave you that 'on the edge of your seat' feel.
Again, not quite as interesting as the first Serena book. And we don’t really seem to learn much of anything new about her, but it keeps up the theme of the rest of the books.
I'm sooo happy for Serena & Stanton!!
