Dark Room

Great read as always from Andrea Kane. Pete Montgomery PI. Monte makes his second appearance and as before he is a take charge ex-cop, turned P.I. with a caring attitude for those who need and deserve it. But for those who have violated the law, he goes "balls out" to get them. Great thriller and mystery, you are never sure what the next twist in the story will bring. All you know is you don't want to put the book down until the end."

I intend to read more by this author. Character development needs improvement but the whole gist of the story is alive with suspense. Unfortunately, some elements of the story were not resolved before the last page but maybe that was laying groundwork for a future work.

Excellent mystery
