Billie Jean was very good at sports at a young age. She was introduced to tennis by her parents and fell in love with the sport. She worked hard and became good at it. As she got older she realized that women didn’t get the same attention men received when it came to tennis. She made people take women’s tennis serious after beating the world champion Bobby Riggs, a famous men’s tennis player.
