MacGregor family patriarch only gets one chance to play matchmaker in this omnibus, although he makes an appearance in both entries.

On the run from a future she wants no part of, Darcy Wallace gambles her last three dollars at a Las Vegas casino, hits the jackpot, and wakes up to discover that all her dreams really can come true - and if Justin MacGregor Blade has anything to do with it, one of those dreams will involve him.

All Preston McQuinn wants is a quiet place to finish his new play - unfortunately, his new neighbor is anything but quiet. And he's slowly discovering he likes her that way...

No surprises here - two pleasantly paced trips down the road to happily ever after.

There is no way that you won't fall in love with the whole MacGregors clan. This series is something that I haven't found anything in the past almost 10 years that has topped it.
Love this series. In the first story, Darcy is down on her luck and ends up winning at a slot machine. The next story threw me off some, because it didn't deal directly with a MacGregor. It deals with the "like a grandaughter" figure of Cybil who falls in love with her quiet, apartment dwelling neighbor.
Probably my favorite of all the McGregor books. Typical contemporary romance from Nora Roberts.
