I was in love with the book's beautiful, I believe water color, illustrations. The snowy atmosphere and animals were just so beautiful along with the story telling.
An Alaskan Dena'ina fable. Details Chia, an orphan, and his life in the village. One night he hears a tapping sound. A fox man was chopping away at the glacier, causing a snow storm. Chia took the axe and ran home. He learns to be honest and the fox says good things will come his way if he will always do the right thing.
