My one piece of advice: Never kiss a stranger. See, I kind of kissed this sexy man at the bar on a dare once, and it turns out he's a Royal Fae destined to be my mate. Now I've been dragged to the Elemental Fae Academy to control the powers I unlocked that night. So kissing? Yeah, that won't happen again. Nope. Lesson learned. Except, I kind of kissed Titus, too. And well, now, I'm in a world of trouble. I keep burning things down, flooding dorms, and I've attracted the campus mean girl brigade. This Fae Realm is a nightmare come to life. Truly. But there are dreams here, too. Sexy ones. And they're in the form of five Elemental Fae mentors. They're supposed to help me control my powers, but who's going to keep the elements from controlling me? Note: This is a medium burn reverse harem paranormal romance, and book one of the Elemental Fae Academy trilogy.… (more)

Whirlwind of a ride!

Claire grew up orphaned and raised by her grandparents. At arms length is a kind way of putting it. Berated her entire life for the so called cruelty her mother showed by abandoning her father and herself saying she'd return, and in fact never did so. She's no memories of her, and just the coldness of being raised in a loveless home since her father died soon after her mum vanished. Seems her grandparents though kind enough to raise her, took all their blame and anger out on her. Cut to her 21st birthday where she's escaping life and partying with her BFFs. As a rule she's more introverted, so when Rick dares her to kiss to the supreme hotty at the bar she does just that.

B O O M!!!

Little did Claire think her entire world would change in that very instant! A fire like no other starts at the bar and Exos aka Hotty McHotterson barely manages to get Claire to safety and out of the mass flames. Sadly her friend Rick didn't survive, and Exos fears Claire's response upon learning. Bad enough she's about to learn she's a fae halfling of prophecy that can yield FIVE elements, when only the most special among them yield two. This golden child that shines with pure goodness wasn't raised to know anything about the Fae. Nor does she know what her mother did by possibly sacrificing herself for Claire. Worst of all she doesn't know that she, Claire is purported to be either the savior or Doomsbringer of ALL fae. Now to tell ALL this to one young lady? It's too much! Yet he's charged with doing just that.

The next time Claire awakens she's in a strange place with faces she doesn't know. Her learning will fast begin, and her heart will break. Yet under it all is a kind hearted, FIERCE female that will do ANYTHING when it comes to those she cares for or innocents. Goddess help those on the wrong side! She'll quickly have to come up to speed on all things Fae, elements, royalty, and find out EXACTLY what happened to her mother and why?!? (Sidenote: I for one am leaning on the side that maybe the story the fae say about her mum is just that ....a story. I've a sinking feeling her mum might not be the big bad everyone believes her to be. Then again I could be wrong). Claire will have to work overtime with her friends on learning all she can, and avoiding the fae mean girl crew. My money is on Claire! I can't wait to see what's next in book two, and possibly unmask part of the real big bad. After all, rarely is it just one person ( )

How in the world does a dare to kiss a man change your whole life. Claire finds out that her life was a lie and learns that she is a halfling. Half Fae and Human and she has no idea want is going on. Lexi Foss brings us a story with excitement, wonderful characters, and surprises around every corner. A wonderful story worth a reading more then once. ( )

Oh my, this was just so Fabulous!!!
Really wasn't sure if this was going to be my thing especially since reverse-harem is a bit hit and miss for me well this for me was a sure hit.
I absolutely bloody adored this, these authors have smashed it out the park with there contribution to this Paranormal collection and I for one can't wait for the next piece of this addictive and magical tale.
This story involves Clare a halfling who has no idea of her origins, raised on earth as a mortal by her paternal grandparents her powers kickstart on the eve of her 21st birthday.
Whisked off to the Fae realm by the delectable but oh so arrogant Exos a powerful Royal Spirit Fae who has been assigned as her protector.
Add into the mix Titus a Fire Fae who Clare also feels an instant connection to and we have some definite fireworks.
So this really hooked my attention and I am so looking forward to experiencing more of this fascinating world in the near future.
An imaginative undertaking that was extremely well written as well as being hot as Hades.

So having originally read the first part of this in the anthology it was in earlier this year I was ever so excited to get stuck into the rest of the story.
I reread this from the beginning just to get the whole entire experience in one go and part 2 most certainly lived up to my set prior expectations.
This was just so enthralling and I enjoyed every minute especially the natural progression of Clare's relationships with her Fae mate's Titus and Exos.
I was also intrigued to see certain individuals being added tentatively to the current mix and I am looking forward to seeing how this dynamic evolves somewhat going forward.
In terms of heat, I would describe this reverse harem as a medium build and it manages to stoke the flames higher and higher to a level akin with total combustion.
Filled with fire and spirit and empathetic emotion throughout this is a sensual and engrossing read: one that I really do recommend highly: It really was such a breath of fresh air.
And my god that finale I really need the next book like yesterday and I will be holding my breath in total anticipation until it's in my greedy mitts.
for further clarification, this review is now for the whole story which has now been released in its complete entirety.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Elemental Fae Academy.
