"Ivy Bird is a celebration of the natural world and the joy found in imaginative play. Perfect for reading aloud, this book will delight children with its search-and-find elements, bright illustrations, and exuberant story. Wonderfully illustrated and whimsical! A day in the life of Ivy, but using language likened to a bird’s day. It’s fun and deceptively educational. My favorite part of this book is the very end. Why? Because it tells you just a couple facts about each bird seen throughout the story. I look forward to reading this story many times with my grandchild. ( )
