Even at 21, her skills are unparalleled, landing her a spot at a world-class confectionary company. However, when she meets the young, handsome heir to the company, she recognized Tsubaki: her first friend, and the same boy who framed her mother for murder over a decade ago. When Nao Hanaoka was a child, a murder at the confectionary business where her mother worked derailed her happy life. Fifteen years later, she's willing to do anything to infiltrate the business and get answers about the crime.
This is some pretty overwrought soap opera with wild and wacky developments. But it has piqued my curiosity, and I'm willing to try a couple more volumes.
FOR REFERENCE:
Contents: Chapter 1. Reunited -- Chapter 2. Sweets for a Ceremony -- Chapter 3. Marriage -- Chapter 4. Kogetsuan -- Chapter 5. An Order from a Regular -- Afterword -- Next Volume Preview -- [About the Author] -- Translation Notes

The library had volumes 1 – 5, so I’m starting this series.
This wasn’t a good introduction. The marriage proposition was ridiculous and happened way too fast with absolutely no build-up. I have seen similar mangas with setups like this, so it’s really the horrid pacing and the flat characters that are the main issue.
Tsubaki also needs to stop being so aggressive. Let that little girl wrist go, sadistic demon!
