Content: As the title suggests, this book provides tidbits of information for 100 World Wonders. From the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland to the Sydney Opera House in Australia, this book does a good job of covering all areas of our grand planet. The illustrations are realistic and the short bursts of information keep the readers’ attention.

My reaction: This book has facts that I had never heard of before and I can easily see the younger intermediate crowd loving the illustrations and short snippets that go along with them. I personally prefer the “10 Most…” series to the “100 Facts” series but that is probably because I have the reading stamina for longer information passages. For those students with shorter attention spans, this book would be a great fit!

Recommended Age Level: 8-12

Series Information: This book belongs to the “100 Facts” series which covers a HUGE range of topics. (Ancient Egypt, Animal Life, Warriors, etc.) A full list of books can be found at: http://www.mileskelly.net/products-page/100-facts/page/1/ ( )
