I See You was a light mystery with an interesting story, but it was almost too light for me, so I was completely thrown when a character was killed. It was pretty predictable as far as mysteries go, and the romance was hardly explored. As well written as it was, it just wasn't enough of a story.
Dia Courvant is a paramedic and while every day has a possibility of terrible things nothing quite beats the day her husband was one of the people she rescued. Now it appears that there is something trying to get her, she seems to be getting messages from beyond the grave and she's torn between her love for her dead husband and the man trying to help her, Detective Brig Hafferty.

It's amusing, light and there are parts that don't stand up to scrutiny but still it kept me interested while I read it. A light romance.

This book was so good. I felt like i was on the edge of my seat. I could not put this one down.
A great Holly Lisle addition - she always adds a paranormal element to her books.
From Amazon:
For paramedic Dia Courvant, each day brings the possibility of facing blood and death. But nothing matched the horror of the day she was dispatched to the scene of a terrible car accident and rescued the sole survivor-only to find her own husband dead in the wreckage. Now, four years later, a series of deadly car crashes has brought handsome detective Brig Hafferty into Dia's life. She's drawn to Brig, but can she trust him enough to tell him of the terror that stalks her? For Dia has received a message warning her of danger and death-a message that seems to have been sent to her from beyond the grave.
