I think this is a truly ambitious pop-up and can't wait to find a better copy than the one I own at present. Tie back the covers of this carousel-type book and you will just about feel the ocean spray on your skin! Steve Cox's incredibly detailed illustrations and Nick Denchfield's intricate paper engineering come together and create a very magical pirate ship and crew with adventure on every side. A giant squid attacks on one side, and the most amazing whale slips away on the other, both in and out of the water. Over 50 punch out figures add to the fun and a game is to be had as well. A true delight to any lover of adventure, I highly recommend this one. ( ) no reviews | add a review
