I read Pogo in the "Twin Falls Times News" when I was too young to understand the politics, but it slowly became clear as I grew up.
More politically-flavored Pogo strips with a focus on pollution and gun control, and introduces John Mitchell as a humb-backed owl and J. Edgar Hoover as a bulldog. Also introduces Mam'selle Hepzibah's nephew Humperdunk.
