"Yehuda and Maya Devir began illustrating their life in comics when they moved into their first apartment together in Tel Aviv as newlyweds. In the years since, One of Those Days has become one of the biggest webcomics on the Internet, with millions of followers around the world. Yehuda Devir grew up on superhero comic books, and the Devirs' visual style is downright kinetic and bursting with life. In this collection--the first time that the Devirs' comics have been compiled in one volume--they share stories that are heartwarming, hilarious, and universally recognizable. So even for those who don't feel like pulling out an assault rifle to wage war on a kitchen cockroach, the Devirs' challenges and triumphs are instantly familiar to anyone who's had one of those days."--Amazon.… (more)

While it was a great book, I apparently read to much of the blog/Facebook/Instagram because there was nothing new for me here... I still feel like it was a great insight into their lives, marriage, difficulties getting pregnant and eventual daughter. It was nice having everything all in one place. I love their artwork and will continue to stalk them online!

"One of Those Days" is a single-panel slice-of-life web comic taken from the life of Israeli artists Yehuda and Maya Devir. They've always raised a grin and been must-shares when I come across them online, and I love having this attractive hardbound collection to leaf through. ( )

Fairly typical one-page gags about newlyweds and marriage get an energetic boost from being drawn with the cheesecake and dynamic sensibilities of superhero comic book covers. Israelis Yehuda and Maya Devir come off as a fun and sexy couple into superhero and action movies. (Marvel may be sending them a letter soon about the repeated use of a little Hulk doll throughout the book.) ( )
