Beautifully illustrated with full-color reproductions. This brief book traces Chagall’s life from birth to death, and discusses the development and impact of his work in the world of art. An excellent introduction to this fascinating and complicated artist. Highly recommended.
Mark Chagall was een Joodse Russische schilder. In dit boekje een korte inleiding op zijn werk. Wat me van een eerder boek over hem is bijgebleven is dat ik zijn glas in lood ramen wel eens in het echt wil zien.
