Patty Loew, PhD, is an enrolled member of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe. She is a professor in the Department of Life Sciences Communication at UW-Madison and affiliated faculty with the American Indian Studies Program. For twenty years she hosted statewide news and public affairs programs for Wisconsin Public Television.
