Who Put the B in the Ballyhoo?

Fantastically written and illustrated, Beccia has done a masterful job in combining something as basic a ABC’s and circus history. I had to read through this twice to catch all of the detail that she has put into this. I read through it with the nephew again and he couldn’t stop from pointing out all the small details in the art and was very interested in the reading as well. He practiced using the word “hoax” on his mother that evening.

This book can be used in grades K-8. The book can be used as a read aloud in grades K-3 to talk about the circus and the alphabet. In grades 4-8 you can use this as either a read aloud or a self read to show the use of adjectives.
