Synopsis: Reacher never backs down from a problem. And he's about to find a big one, on a deserted Arizona road, where a Jeep has crashed into the only tree for miles around. Minutes later Reacher is heading in to the nearby border town. Next to him is Michaela Fenton, and army veteran turned FBI agent, who is trying to find her twin brother. He might have got mixed up with some dangerous people.
And Reacher might just need to pay them a visit. Just to get in and meet their mysterious leader, Reacher is going to have to achieve the impossible. To get answers will be even harder. There are people in this hostile, empty place who would rather die than reveal their secrets. But then, if Reacher is coming after you, you might be better off dead.

Review: Although there are lots of fights and way too much information about models of guns, the story is significantly twisted enough to be interesting. It's hard to determine if the bad guy is the only one or if there is someone else is involved. And what does Michaela actually know about her brother. ( )

Not my favourite Jack Reacher book. Read it but took me longer than usual to read. Have other Lee Child books on my shelf to read but by him alone. Usually pass my books on to my sister but going to donate this elsewhere ( )

I am a huge fan of Jack reacher. This is the second "and Andrew Child" Reacher that I have started and put down without finishing. Read 16% and 12% of the books before decding not to waste my time. Reacher without Lee Child is not worth reading. Sorry to see Reacher go. I found a similar situation when Vince Flynn died and the Mitch Rapp series continued with Kyle Mills. ( )

Another Reacher book is always a good thing. You can, however, tell that this book has a lot of Andrew's writing and not so much of Lee's. Though, not nearly as noticeable as the previous book in this series, so perhaps Andrew is getting better, or the editor was more aware.

Anyway, doesn't matter, I already have the next book in the series. ( )
