Optimus fights Scorponok within the internet whilst the Pretenders fight outside it. I think that the thing to remember is that, in universe, no-one involved in the production of the Pretenders except Goldbug, had any idea of the normal fauna of Earth, nor the range of sizes humans came in, so maybe the Pretenders could be seen as a conceptual error on the Transformers part. This is crap, but the Pretenders are still awesome. ( )
