Penguin Modern Poets 3: Glyn Maxwell, Mick Imlah, Peter Reading

Glyn Maxwell was born in 1962 in Hertfordshire, England. He studied English at Oxford & poetry at Boston University. Among the honors he has received are the Somerset Maugham Prize & the E.M. Forster Prize. He now lives with his wife & their daughter in Massachusetts, where he teaches at Amherst College. (Bowker Author Biography)

Poet and editor Mick Imlah was born on September 26, 1956. He attended Magdalen College and later taught there as a junior fellow. He published two collections of poetry: Birthmarks (1988) and The Lost Leader (2008), which won the 2008 Forward Prize. He was the editor of Poetry Review from 1983 to 1986 and edited The New Penguin Book of Scottish show more Verse with Robert Crawford in 2000.
