Krissy runs a coffee shop/bookstore and is close with the town police detective. At a fundraiser the most obnoxious man in town is bobbing for apples (in the cider and apples Krissy provided) when he gets himself dead via poison. Let the sleuthing begin. Easily read as a stand alone, there are enough red herrings and quirky characters to make it an interesting read.
I requested and received a free temporary ebook copy from Kensington Books via NetGalley. Thank you. ( )
