While one of the characters in this story is Asian, I think it needs to be noted that that is not a crucial part of the narrative. It does not impact the message of compassion, of being there for friends when they need it the most. ( )

Wonderful book for young ones about how to be a friend to someone who is upset without being intrusive or hurtful. ( )
