This is a prequel novella of the Bought the Farm mystery series. There are only 74 pages in this story. Is less than 100 pages a book? Thus the three star rating. It is a cute fast paced cozy. Ivy has reached her limit from her job and needs a change when she comes across a neglected abused border collie that stills her heart. It really is a good read just too short.
